An Evening With…Dave Gray

June 5 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm

We are delighted to welcome some of the North East’s finest folk musicians into the studio for an online evening event. There will be time for guests to perform some solo material, and they will also lead a tunes session with us – so bring your instruments to join in from home!

Melodeon maestro, Dave Gray (once described by the BBC’s Mark Radcliffe as “The Smiliest man in Folk”) will be joining us in the studio for an evening in June. You may have experienced Dave’s contagious energy in his performances with Världens Band or with Katie Doherty and The Navigators. An experienced tutor and performer, Dave is also director of “Folk Club Newcastle”. No stranger to Phoenix Folk, having worked with us on several occasions as both a performer and tutor, it is our great pleasure to invite you to spend “An Evening With Dave Gray”.

The evening will be a mix of solo performance by Dave and session tunes to join in with from home. Sheet music for the session will be available on here before the event.

These are open access events on Zoom. The joining codes are below, and there is no need to book in advance. Please pay as you feel, or can afford, using our Tip Jar.
