An Evening With...
We are delighted to welcome some of the North East’s finest folk musicians into the studio for an online evening event. There will be time for guests to perform some solo material, and they will also lead a tunes session with us – so bring your instruments to join in from home!
These are open access events on Zoom. The joining codes are below, and there is no need to book in advance. Please pay as you feel, or can afford, using our Tip Jar on the right.

An Evening With...Sophy Ball
Sunday 8th December 2024, 7.00pm – 8.30pm
First choice fiddle player for great performers such as Alistair Anderson, Sophy Ball has played in a huge range of bands including the Andy May Trio, Northlands, The Wild Murphys and the Bottle Bank Band. She has performed at festivals and concert halls all over Europe and is also an accomplished tutor and workshop leader. There will be a solo performance from Sophy, followed by a tunes session for you to join in with from home. Sheet music for the session is available to download here (COMING SOON)

An Evening With...Stewart Hardy
Sunday 9th February 2025, 7.00pm – 8.30pm
Internationally acclaimed fiddle player, composer and teacher, Stewart Hardy, will be joining us in the studio for an evening. You can find out more about Stewart on his website.
