The pack contains three audio files – one for G major, one for D major one for A major. Each track is around 12 minutes long and follows the same format.
You will hear a chord and scale in the relevant key and time signature. You do not need to repeat this, just listen to it – it’s there to help ‘tune your ears’. You will then hear a metronome followed by a short phrase. Listen to the phrase, wait for the metronome, then play it back. You will then hear the same phrase again. Listen to the phrase, wait for the metronome, then play it back again.
The phrases are sequences of notes commonly found at the start of tunes, and the audio is divided into jigs, reels and waltzes. The chord and scale are repeated at the start of each section. There are 10 phrases in each section and each one is played twice.
